I racconti dai concerti di Jovanotti

le emozioni del pubblico di Lorenzo Cherubini

Paul da Bruxelles

I originally bought the tickets as a surprise for my fiancé who has been a fan of Jovanotti for the last 20 years and upon arriving at Forest National I quickly realised that I was in the minority, at 1m88 and with blonde hair and blue eyes I certainly wasn’t going to go unnoticed.
When we got to our seats the atmosphere was already electric and the tracks being played on Radio Soleluna only added to that – my particular favourite being Ray Charles “I’ve got a woman”.
Even though I don’t understand many of the lyrics (OK, almost zero) after a few minutes I found myself clapping my hands along with the other guests. After half an hour I was clapping my hands and stamping my feet. And after an hour I was stood up and dancing – yes, an Englishman dancing to Jovanotti!
After 2 1/2 hours (I couldn’t believe it had gone so fast) I was sad to see the end of the concert and sad to be leaving the thing that we had all created together. An encounter with an artist that shares his enthusiasm and positive energy through his lyrics, his clothes and his regard.
Since the concert I’ve been listening to Jova in the car (on Spotify) and am now looking forward to seeing him again some day – perhaps in Italy but this time with our daughter of 8.
Thanks Lorenzo, you and the group were fantastic!
